4 Inspirational True Story Movies about Overcoming Adversity available on Amazon Prime Video

I love movies that inspire me to be a better person.

1000-1 Cory Weissman Story –An amazing movie about a college student who has a stroke and learns to cope with the disappointment in his basketball career and finds the courage to keep going in the midst of obstacles.

Forever Strong – This is about a rugby player who has to play the team his father coaches in the national championships after a reckless decision places him in a juvenile detention facility where he learns to be a true leader.

23 Blast – A teen who loves football loses his sight but with the encouragement of those around him, finds a way to overcome his disability and still pursue his love of football.  This was such a treat to watch.  I loved the humor he shares with his friend in the midst of his challenging circumstances.
